Dare to be Bare

"The most common and well-known use of corsets is to slim the body and make it conform to a fashionable silhouette."

Corsets, for some people, are too daring and uncomfortable to wear. Well, I beg to disagree.
They are very comfortable to wear, not to mention a great way to show-off your curves
and maybe show a little bit of skin. ;)
I decided to wear mine on a great, well-spent day with nature;
mix-and-matching my clothes to make it look chic and sporty, as well.

Corset top: F21
Shorts: Mom's vintage
Shoes: Keds

Pleas don't mind my HULKy legs. haha

Ahhhh...

The Visit

Last Friday, my sister came home to surprise my dad for his birthday.
We took this opportunity to spend as much time with her since she can't visit all the time.
♡♡♡

Hahahahahahaha posing in one of the set-ups for my brother's Pre-nup photoshoot.

The View and the view is spectacular! hahaha get it?

Because we miss moments like this.

♡♡
Soak up Vitamin D!

The place is simply amazing!

Finally, in Eden Nature Park for a well-deserved lunch.

Denim+Floral

This is what I wore yesterday for our Father's day celebration.
I wanted something comfy and carefree at the same time.
Denim + Floral.. What do you think? :)

Top: Forever 21
High-waisted Shorts: Mom's Vintage

Accesories: Aldo, Parfois and Thrifted

Shoes: Urban Outfitters

Our Father's Day celebration was simple as ever.
We dined at Hanoi Vietnamese Cuisine--just because all the other restaurants in the mall were full,
and we were so hungry.
Am I mean for saying that? Haha
We were actually having second thoughts about the food,
because we have no idea if they're good or not.
But now, I can say, they are definitely  good!

Of course, the food. I forgot to take down their names. Sorry for that.
I was THAT hungry. haha

Never knew Crispy Pata can also be Vietnamese. haha!

This one is super refreshing!!

Hanoi is definitely a must-try resto. <3

Goodbye Summer!

The memo pad is the cutest! I can't resist it!

Meet my pencil case. Been with me for 2 years now. hihihi

Studying for a quiz. Bummer!

Are you ready for school? 'Cause I, definitely, am not!
I just love shopping for school stuff, that's all.
Y'know, that feeling when you buy new notebooks and ball pens, and choosing different colors of markers/highlighters. Ahhhh.. hahaha
Why does summer have to be so short? and fast?? I never really felt the 'heat' in "The heat of the summer". Like, literally! I only went to the beach once! I feel like such a loser.
Nevertheless, it's my last year in school, so I have to make the most of the remaining days I have before I enter the world of job-searching and all those adult stuff.
Just the thought of it makes me cringe! I swear, I'm not yet ready!
I do hope this year will turn out to be what I expect it to be-- momentous
But then again, I always say, "You can never tell."

Cheers, everyone! And have a great school year ahead!

Colorful Ties and Highlights

This one is by far the hardest I've made, and the most time-consuming! It needed 16 strings!

So.. this is what I'm currently working on.. The diamond.

These are all the friendship bracelets I have at the moment.
I made almost all of them, except for the other 4 that I bought.

If there's one thing I'm obsessed with lately,
it would be these multicolored FriendshiBracelets
Seriously, who wouldn't be obsessed with them??? They're cute and eye-catching and are unbelievably easy to make! All you ever need to do is to master the art of the basic knots, and you're good to go.
The most basic knots are the forward knots and the backward knots.
The clue there is that in forward knots, you need to make a number 4 using 2 (two) strings.
Get it? FORward, and FOUR.
Of course, when you say backward knots, it's just the mirror image of the number 4.
Still confused? Well, there are plenty of videos in Youtube that might be helpful. Go check them out!
I also bought this Friendship Bracelet book I found in Robinsons supermarket.
I think you can find them in all bookstores now. Go get them before it's too late!
Happy knotting!

Not your ordinary Sunday

Well, we all know what today is.
Yes, it's Sunday, but it's also the day our all time boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, got defeated by Timothy Bradley. I'm not a huge boxing fan but I was actually saddened by the news that he lost. I mean, no one saw that coming! Well, anyway, you can't always have everything, right?

In the meantime,
While everyone was busy cheering for Pacman, here I am, busy taking photos for my very first outfit post.
I'm so excited! Yey me! :) So, this is what I wore to church today. I'd describe it as casual chic. What do you think?

Trying hard to show off my mini mullet skirt hahaha

Forgive my forever messy hair :D

My ever so favorite Bershka brogues. Goes well with everything!
(Don't mind the scratch at the top! haha)

Look: Sunday Casual
Top: Forever 21
Skirt: Bershka
Shoes: Bershka
Bangles: Mango
Rings: Forever 21

Hope you like it!

Everything has its own beginnings.

Hello, Everyone! So.. This is officially my first blog post. Ever.
I don't know if I'm thrilled or scared, but I'm feeling all giddy inside. Is that normal? I hope so! I have always wanted to blog ever since, I don't know, God-knows-when, I just didn't have the guts and the eagerness (because I'm lazy) to make one. Now, I think I just did.
So, anyway, I'm still getting a hang of this. I hope I can push through.
I will do everything I can to update and post new entries daily. I promise!
Have a good day, everyone!

xoxo
